A locked rehabilitation and recovery service is in need of a Charge Nurse Reference ID: 4597 Contract/Interim Full Time

An amazing job opportunity has arisen for a committed Charge Nurse to work in an exceptional hospital service based in the Romiley, Cheshire area. As the Charge Nurse you will be working for one of UK’s leading health care providers

This hospital supports those who have a primary diagnosis of psychosis and/or affective disorders who may also have co-morbidities including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), substance misuse issues, physical health difficulties and emotionally unstable personality disorder

As the Charge Nurse your key responsibilities include:

·         Works as Senior Nurse in a Ward or equivalent area ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, their families and visitors

·         Ensures that risk is assessed and managed across the immediate and wider working environment and that statutory requirements are met

·         Provides Clinical Supervision to a group of defined nursing staff

·         Undertakes Lead roles for the ward, as agreed with the Ward manager

·         Deputises for the Ward manager as required

·         Actively supports and contributes to effective Multi Disciplinary Working

An ideal Charge Nurse must have these skills and experience as they are beneficial for this position:

·         Mentorship Qualification (desirable)

·         The ability to lead and motivate others. Must be flexible, enthusiastic, self-motivated and have the ability to supervise clinical teams

·         A genuine interest in quality service delivery and development

·         The ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines

·         Numeracy and evidence of analytical ability

·         Experience in completing audits

The successful Charge Nurse will receive an excellent salary of £32,175 per annum +  enhancements for unsociable hours. This exciting position is a Fixed Term role working Full Time 37.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
